A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, Book 1)
well... There is so much "ado" about this book. Besteller, HBO series, it "crossed the chasm" between fantasy lovers and so called "overall book lovers". "Right after Tolkien" bla, bla, bla
What can I say the book is good, I admire autor's ability to lead all the threads, there are very few things that one can complain but the book is not great. If it's your first or second (after Lord of Rings) go deeper. There are many great books in fantasy, don't be deluded by childish and trivial covers :-).
Lonely Planet Krakow Encounter
I know this is a science fiction book. Me review will be totally different. This is the best book about love! Lem's imagination about picturing "aliens" is amazing.
Believe me or not but this book will leave you breathless.
